Alexandre Brongniart had various hairstyles during his career. He was widely known as a talented botanist, geologist, chemist, mineralogist, zoologist and university teacher. Nevertheless, the French chemist, mineralogist, and zoologist (1770-1847) was especially known for his unusual fashion sense and his charming personality. Before his tragic passing at the age of 77 he was often talked about in the press due to his exceptionally haircuts.
